Ever since we visited an Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice shop for the very first time, we immediately fell in love with the product, the brand and its whole team.
From then, we maintained our relationship with Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice and recently, as we were offered the exclusivity for the brand’s stores and expansion compromising Florida’s Gulf coast, without hesitation, we said yes.
Therefore, Ferret Hospitality, a Limited Liability Company, was founded. The Company was formed in April 2022 and is registered in the state of Florida.
Ferret Hospitality is owned by Alexander Prietz, a national of Germany, and an experienced and accomplished CEO and business developer who is excited to bring the Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice brand to Florida.

In 2022, Ferret Hospitality LLC became franchisee of Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice.
We plan to exclusively develop Florida’s Gulf Coast area. Our franchise area ranges from Clearwater in the North of Florida’s Gulf coast to Naples in the South, approximately 175 miles of gulf- side coastline.

Aloha! For over a decade Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice has been the gold standard for gourmet shave ice and is know worldwide for its incredible syrups, toppings and unique flavors.
The Company has received the highest ratings from Trip Advisor, Yelp, Urban Spoon and others and has won numerous awards.
Now, Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice brings its gourmet Shave ice and Aloha spirit to Florida!
Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice delivers an exceptional product and does so with exceptional service to create memorable ‘WOW’ experiences that can last a lifetime.
“We want people to return to our shops because they love our Shave Ice but more importantly, we want them to return because of the way we make them feel.” Says David Yamashiro (co-owner). These sentiments are delivered to each and every guest through something the brand‘s team calls “ALOHATUDE”, Aloha with gratitude. Every guest is extremely important to us, tremendously appreciated and treated like family.

Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice is GOURMET, all that we do is special.
EVERY step involved with hand- crafting an Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave ice was purposefully designed over time through tried and tested methods to ensure that the product delivered to our guests is unlike anything they have ever experienced or tasted.
Our Shave Ice produced from ice blocks made in house with Ultra Purified water and using our unique packing style results in a frozen treat that is not crunchy, not wet or slushy but smooth and incredibly soft.
Every one of our home made syrups is made according to Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice own recipes. The premium ingredients ensure a line of syrups that are true to taste with bold “punch you in the mouth” flavor. Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice creates syrups that people crave and that are not found anywhere else.
Our gourmet add on’s such as ice cream, mochi, and toasted coconut are either made by Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice or sourced from the best Maui has to offer.

The Store Concept 03
The Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice shop is where the magic happens! It is our workshop, our service station... our home. We take pride in the space we are given. Never stale or cookie cutter but always fun, full of personality with a Mom and Pop feel.
When our guests visit Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice we want them to know that THEY come first. We strive to create experiences that make our consumers feel valued. At the core of our service is ALOHATUDE, Aloha with gratitude.
At Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice every guest is special. That is why when our guests reach the counter they have our undivided attention. Our team cares about our guests and we do our best to make them feel like family. They will feel genuine warmth and Aloha the moment they approarch the shop and we will immediately be hard at word designing the best possible experience for them.
We are interested, we want to know; their likes and dislikes and together we will choose the best product to suit their tastes.

Besides our primary goal of making our guests happy we are aiming to continue Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice success story.
They opened their first shop in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, in 2008. Until 2018, Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice spread ALOHATUDE across Hawaii with 8 stores in total, both on Maui and on the Island of Hawai‘i, both on their own behalf and with franchisees. In 2020, the brand opened its production and distribution center in Vancouver, Washington. In 2021, the brand opened its 9th store in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii.
In 2022, a franchise partner will open the 10th location, that will also be the very first Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice shop on US mainland in Hollywood, California.
And now, we intend to pursue their expansion success on the US mainland as well. Our intermediate objective is to open and to operate the subsequent Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice stores within our expansion area from Clearwater to Naples within the upcoming 5 years. Furthermore, we intend to spread Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice ALOHATUDE across Florida’s whole Gulf coast and far beyond!
